Steph Gingrich quickly became a fan-favorite character in Deck Nine’s Life is Strange: Before the Storm, bolstered by her superb Dungeon Mastering skills, confidence (she was an out and proud member of Blackwell Academy), and her voice actress, Katy Bentz.
(Bentz has built quite the community on Twitch; her subscribers are a welcoming bunch called the KaterTots, and she’s even fostered a stream team called the Beanie Bandits. A beanie was a trademark of Steph in Before the Storm.)
Now, Steph’s being featured in her own DLC, Wavelengths.
It was a wonderful surprise to see Steph appear in the announcement of Life is Strange: True Colors, even nicer to see that the DLC announced for the game would feature her. Set before True Colors, Wavelengths sees Steph as new to Haven Springs, and she’s taking over the town’s only radio station. And, by extension, the record store.
And speaking of music – the music in Wavelengths is going to feature some big names.
